Good morning from sunny Cambridge.
‘The Half-Life Girl’ is published!
Here it is.
And that’s not all. ‘The Half-Life Girl’, ‘Beyond The Shining Portals’, and all my other books are now also audiobooks on Audible, except ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor, which is on Spotify.
Later this morning, I will book one-day slots on seven book clubs offering ‘Beyond The Shining Portals’ for free. This will be your chance to read it if you haven’t already.
Yesterday, one-day slots were available on each of the book club sites for five consecutive days in mid-July. So, unless the situation has changed, that’s when I will book. I will send regular reminders
I’ve made a list of loose ends in ‘The Half-Life Girl’ to tie up in ‘Now Is The Time Of Monsters’. I’ve already resolved some of them in note form, and will go to those pain points and write them up.
I haven’t set a date for completion, but I’m hopeful it will be sooner rather than later.
Next Sunday, I may be a little frazzled. One of my cousins and I are hosting a joint birthday party on Saturday. It will be held in a boathouse on the south bank of the Thames. My cousin has made the calculations. The tide will be out, so the footpath to the boathouse won’t be underwater. There will be rowing boat rides for younger relatives. We are hoping for a hot midsummer day!
